DEAR EVERYONE - I DON'T USUALLY CANVAS MY FRIENDS LIST BUT THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT AND REALLY URGENT!
Some of you may have seen this on Facebook already
Rampisham Down in Dorset - a nationally important SSSI - is under imminent threat of destruction by the construction of a huge solar farm. The local council have taken the decision to approve the planning application despite contrary scientific advice, local protest and a perfectly viable alternative site close by!
Please take a minute to look at the e-petition and then SIGN IT!!!! We are asking for the decision to be called in for review by the Secretary of State. We have only a few days to convince Eric Pickles to do this, so every signature is vital! Please help! And then pass the message on!
