Importing from LJ to DW

Encouraged by Kernel's success at this, I've just used the importing tool to copy everything over from LJ. It took about an hour but it seems to have worked. Am quite impressed!

I did that a while ago. It didn't seem to carry over the people who had access to my LJ page and automatically give them access to here, but...

That's an interesting point. I've just looked at the people and comms who were imported and they *look* okay, but I've also noticed that TS Secret Santa didn't get imported though many other comms did. I suppose it depends whether they have a presence on DW? I had better double-check things...

Though everyone on my LJ friends list was moved over, and I don't think all of them have DW accounts.

Sadly, nothing is going on here. That's why I stay in LJ. This place is a morgue compared to there.

Thank you! Not entirely convinced about the stars yet though!
And yes, the process really impressed me.
But I still don't really know what some of the settings are about!
